Gráinne is an Irish language enthusiast, teacher and writer, with over 20 years experience in teaching and the founder of Gaeilge le Grá.

Gaeilge le Grá focuses on the beauty of a language that uniquely reflects the heart and soul of the Irish. Gaeilge le Grá will provide you with the skills and the confidence, not only to succeed in Irish exams but also to enjoy and promote the daily use of Irish throughout and beyond the island of Ireland. 

Gráinne’s love of Irish began in Clones, Co. Monaghan and continued throughout her schooling. Gráinne attained her BA degree, in Irish and Philosophy, along with the Higher Diploma in Education from Trinity College, Dublin and her Master’s Degree in Irish from the University of Limerick.

Gráinne is hugely experienced in both Irish language teaching and course design and has had Irish courses ratified by the University of Limerick. Gráinne has also prepared courses for Garda entry and promotion, Hibernia College entry and for both Leaving and Junior Certificate examinations. 

Gráinne is also a writer of fiction in both Irish and English and has recently published her first novel in Irish, Bród. Bród is a light-hearted story of life in 21st Century Ireland and is written in modern, everyday Irish. 

In her spare time, Gráinne enjoys gold, hiking, cycling and motorbiking.
